Prosper Co. is a real estate family of businesses that puts people first. Our mission is to impact and inspire our community positively. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to help us streamline this growth. 

The HR Specialist will own all team members’ hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes. The HR Specialist will also own the organization and administration of the team member database, benefits, payroll, PTO, and team member policies/handbook. The HR Specialist will help keep the company in compliance with all the above duties and all subjects related to Human Resources.

The HR Specialist’s Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Hiring Captain

    • Own Hiring Process
    • Post open positions on website, social media and hiring platforms
    • Help Leader review and filter candidates
    • Schedule and help Leader hold interviews
    • Assist with compensation research and send out offer letters

Onboard New Hires

  • Set up email, workstation equipment, software logins, etc.
  • Conduct new hire orientation meeting
  • Prepare New hire packet with necessary forms
  • Assist Synergy Manager in conducting Core Values training
  • Ensure all necessary benefits are in place for new hire
  • Offboarding Team Members
  • Execute off-boarding check-list
  • Handle all termination/resignation paperwork and communication with team member
  • Email cancellation/forwarding, workstation equipment, etc.
  • Communicate with necessary 3rd-party benefit providers
    •  

Company Benefits

  • Research and find the best 3rd party benefit vendors and programs (health insurance, 401K, etc.)
  • Work with benefit provider to hold consistent/recurring education for team members
  • Go-to person for all benefit related team member questions

Team Member Relations

  • Own performance review process
      • Schedule, execute and document (30/60/90 day) new hire reviews with Leader
      • Schedule and document annual Team Member reviews with Leader
  • Work with Leaders to help develop and execute Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
  • Document and address official team member complaints
  • Manage and track PTO and help develop and communicate changes in these policies

Misc:

  • Finance: Run payroll with help of staff accountant
  • Understand and stay up-to-date on payroll and HR laws ensuring legal compliance
  • Maintain team member handbook

Requirements:

  • Required – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR/Payroll operations
  • Preferred – Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent
  • Preferred – Applicable HR Certifications or willingness to get
